Hi i have recently installed 2 new speakers in the front, isolated the rears and installed a 12" jbl sub in the boot. It all sounds amazin except for a large amount of rattling coming from various points in the car (door panels, parcel shelf, rear windscreen wiper other bits and bobs) Could anyone suggest anything to allow me to play the music but not with the annoyin rattles, cheers

you would need to sound deaden the whole car to get rid of most rattles... not cheap

involves stripping out all of the car, then laying down the sound deadening then putting interior in, highly time consuming...

price, erm, not a clue... hazard a guess at around £200 for boot, floorwells, rear..

Yeah this isnt tht much comin from the door panels, just mainly the parcel shelf, i tried taking it out and it made a big differece but dont really fancy having a sub/amp in boot with no parcel shelf. I have seen some kind of filling made by dynamat which looks good and expensive. Also thinking of adjusting the spring force in the rear wiper to help

not true mine doesnt at all n i have a standerd shelf

to get rid of rattles is gonna cost you from £30 to £70 look for ivanhoe on ebay thre should be a company that does it for £35 for 30sq:ft that will stop most rattles put it on your boot' doors and boot floor if you still have a cuple rattles get another 30sq:ft. to stop parcel shelf you need to pull out the rubbers that hold the shelf pull them out and put them bk in but not all the way il get a pic if you dont no what i mean lol

Yes so liam, you mean put it on the metal inside of the boot and that will stop the transer of the sound to the windscreen wiper?
Ok i will try pulling the rubbers out and putting them back in agin but not all the way. Also i have another Q'n, i have my head uni driving the front speakers only so can i bridge the front and rear power terminals to get more power to the front? Thanks all for your ideas.

yeah put in on the inside of the out side metal then fill the boot lid with loft insulation then cover the holes is the boot with more sound deaderning have a search there will be plenty of threads explaining it better than i have and should be pics and for the 2nd q's if your on about bridging your head unit thats a big no no if you want more power for the front your going to have to get a amp
