just looked at my noticeboard, and saw i had a doctors apoiintment.. so i think.. ahh rite, its tomorrow, ill check my timetable make sure im free... then i see "17th"



FUCK!

how pissed off will they be that i missed my appointment?

With any doctors they sort of work on a 3 strikes and you're out basis. Well mine do anyway. Luckily I never miss an appointment

Your GP can bin you at any time, and does not have to give a reason. There have been several high profile cases where refusal to attend for vaccination, screening or smears, or missing appointments etc has been cited as a reason. GPs get paid extra for reaching targets - one of those targets is patient access - if you miss an appointment it means that someone else can't use that space, too many of these and the GP will fall below the payment threshold.
