hey afta havin changed the brake pads on me car ( not by me ) it suddenly has started grinding alot wen pressing the brakes, only from around 25 downwards... thought id check it out 2day so i took the wheel off (wot a fuck on... was seized 2 fuck) and seen summet what might be the problem, the 2 multihex bolts holdin the disk on... 1 of them has been snaped off inside the thread and mite b causing the disk the buckle wen braking, i dont know if it is im just asking cud this be the reason?... to be honest its gunna be a right fuck on drilling the bolt out so i mite just take it 2 a garage... what you guys think?

take it bak and show them they will have to fix it buddy

those bolts don't hold on the disk in general.

They make it alot easier putting the wheel back on though, as without it, the disk can move. But when the wheel is on, the 4 bolts are more than enough to hold the disk where they are.

A few cars I've seen have been fine without the torq screws.

But still make then sort it since it's their mistake.

Were the disks replaced when the pads where?

Disks may be under the required width of 8mm if they making a grinding noise.

yes disks and pads, but its only doin it to the right hand side 1 and its not a consistant grind its like half a turn of the wheel ( grind ) and so on ...
