front spk HELP only sound out of right tweeter???

i have just tried running the speakers from the HU as i thought it was an amp issue, but i still get the same only the right side tweeter is the only speaker that i get sound from?

i have tried the fade left and right on the HU and this makes no diffrence!

when i had them wired to the amp, i got the same only right side tweeter worked!

speakers: boston S50
HU: pioneer deh-p9600mp

You need to check all your wiring especially at the crossovers. Check and double check all the connections are correct and are connected!

i no what this is i have it on both side open the crossover and u will see a black thing that has broke on the board resolder it in the hole prob sorted

well i know there is sound getting to the right crossover, i swaped the tweeter and woofer over and the right is now working!

i have taken the left side off have have tested the speaker wire going in to the door with the old speaker and it works!
i then tested the tweeter and that worked.
i then tested the wire that runs from the crossover to the speaker and that worked.
so i think i have a faulty crossover!

i will check for any broken wires on the board!

thanks for that, have checked it, seems ok!

i took the board out of the cover and on the + input the solder had come away, so a quick solder on the point on the underside now it WORKS!!!

I need a garage where I can work on my car, freezing out side!
can finish putting the rest of the car back together tomorrow

yeah i love the bostons sound great but there crossover aint put togher very well

havnt tested them yet as it was too late after i finally got them working!
will be up early sorting the rest of it out and give them a gd bashing lol

What a joke. These speakers are meant to be so good, and they cant even build the crossovers right...........:panic:
