Can anyone help me out im looking for Van insurance for an S Reg 1.7D combo Van im 19 and cheapest quote i can get is well over a Grand. I can insure a VTR for £680?.
Car insurance isnt really a problem so why is van insurance so high?

I think its because its not a normal policy for like a car, its because its classed as a commercial vehicle, so it goes under another insurance catagory, this even applies for car derived vans, e.g. astra van, escort van, combo van etc.
also it includes contents like tools or cargo.

quoted £1300 robbin c*nts. Wondering if when my VTR is sold and the new buyer insures it can i stil leave my policy running on it even tho i dont have it just for the next couple of months so i can stil get my no claims? or do i hav to swap it accross and insure something else?

Vans are much dearer to insure mate.
A guy from my Dad's old work has his own Citroen C15 and he his paying well over the odds for his age.
