Bought some redex from asda 2nite and put the recommended amount in with some petrol but havent really noticed much? Just wondering if anyone else has used it before and if they had any good results?

Won't difference straight away if much at all.
All it does is clean injectors out to give you a bit extra performance, but it depends how bad it was to start with.

as luke said... it'll work by effectively scrubbing (on a microscopic scale) the walls of the injectors and fuel system until clean... it takes time and if your fuel system is in good nick already you wont notice anything (even if it isnt in 'good' nick you probably wont notice anything either). what you will notice is the mpg if anything.

Av tried the NOS button but still no difference, am getting a supercharger n turbo fitted tommorow so hopefully that should increase performance.
Ye a was thinking it might take a while to go though, my engine just sounds a bit tinny when i accelarate so i thought i might aswell give it a try. thanks

You have to keep using it a good few times when you fill up to notice any difference:p

You use it too much mate and your engine will become dependant on it and start to run lean and you will get a very rich mixture its not recommended to use it too often

does nowt really performance wise, cheaper to stick v-power in, i only ever used it now and then to clean the shit out teh petrol tank if i run it dry now and then.......

I meant just use it short term wise maybe 4 -5 times on every other full tank of fuel but just doin it once won't make a huge difference:P

Mine ran empty the other day so think it might need a complete clean so might use some of this stuff combined with a service try to clean everything out

wrong, using this stuff is very good for an engine, their so no limit that you should only use it every other full tank full.. when they built the car the fuel system was clean, using it restores it back to like it was, and as the ecu monitors the fueling and makes slight changes it resorts back to standard fueling..
it is recommended to use it with a full tank other wise its got a high risk of damanging the injectors say if your 1/4 full and you use a bottle etc..
even at mercedes we used this stuff on a full service, we just ask the customer to either fill up the tank before hand or we fill it up for them and they pay for the petrol / diesel..
"does a little dance"
BP ultimate and Shell V power i think its called has this stuff in it, so if its going to make your engine run "lean" then why would it be in their :)
