Normally crappy petrol is 95 ron
V-power is 99 ron, much better tbh
BP Ulitmate do 102 ron, but still no petrol station in the North east sell it, only 10 or 12 garages across the whole country sell it

You need to be running big power for it to make much of a difference, didnt topgear or something do a test with it & even scooby turbos only made marginal improvement with it high in their rev range.
If its same price go for it, otherwise just fill up with the normal stuff & pocket the change.

I use whatever's cheap at the moment. Can't justify spending over £1 for a litre of petol.
I thought BP Ultimate was only 97 RON Lee? Or do they do an ultimate ultimate???

Higher octane fuel on a 1.1 will make no difference!

Gazza....you need a high powered car to notice the difference
Putting Vpower in your motor is like putting performance diesel in a forklift truck

there is two types of bp ultimate.
the standard 'ultimate'
then there is the 102 RON which is stupidly priced and pointless most most vehicles unless you've got it remapped.

I find V-Power makes a difference in my VTS it runs smoother and it seems to burn more efficiently even when i give it a bit of a pasting.

mine is run on v-power, if i put normal petrol in it goes down much, much faster, must be untill it gets used to it again..
