i would of thought more then 1000, full colour change will mean a complete flat back and prime etc.

would budget more towards 1500, garages do vary on prices tho.

Its about 600-800 for the outside only if you look around. So thats only suitable if you using the same colour otherwise you door sills, engine bay and the inside of the car will still be the original colour.

A full respray of the entire shell is about 1000-1200 if you dont strip it yourself before hand

£600 to £1000 i would say for a full respray.

your wanting the engine bay done too so the engine needs to come out

for a top notch job id look closer towards 2k cause of it having to be stripped etc...

just sell the car

Theres a certain element of 'how long is a piece of string?' about this one but for a full respray, inside and outside including engine bay your looking at a minimum of £1k for a reasonable job.

Maybe cheaper if its mates rates but unless its mates rates with a very reputable sprayer it may not be worth it.

You'll probably be looking in excess of £1500 though for a good job.

Mine cost £800 and then i bought all the paint and materials myself which cost another £350. But i did all of the prep work myself saving a very large proportion of the cost and havnt done my engine bay as its easier for me to do that when the new engines ready to go in.

Would have cost about £1750 if id just taken it in and said i want this colour, there you go, let me know when its done.

Sorry for the mini essay

Thank you for all the advise etc.

Jay, as i said its for a friend not me lol. Mine wouldnt be worth doing with all the miles it has and cond of the car.

My bf is wanting to buy it off me for 900£. So watch this space.

For a really good job and everywhere done I would be looking at 1.5-2k.

it costs a hell of a lot less if you strip the car and prep it :y:
