hi everyone

does anyone on here know much about lpg as me mate went to fill up today and it does normally switch over and today when he switched it on gas the car keeps cutting off ???

anyone able to help ???

Hey lucky enough i work for the engineering department for Shell LPG so has he had the car converted or did he buy it already on LPG?

I'm not sure if car's are the same as tanks but has the LPG been isolated within the car to stop it comming through as the previous owner may of only used petrol and not LPG. There should be a safety valve somewhere on the car for LPG for emergencies check see if it is switched off or not then you may be able to get it through as LPG in tank is vapour.

Or possible the car may have a UPSO/OPSO (pressure valve) which tripps and just needs resetting.
