Hi, i have some sony components in my doors and at certain frequencies some parts of my door panel rattle. I want to stop this from happening but not sure whether i should get a speaker kit or door kit? I want to do this on a budget so having both isnt really an option. What would u recommend?

get a small sheet of low diameter MDF board and make two rings to go between the speakers and the door mate it helps a lot.

get better speakers too mate, coaxials are shite and with them being sony even worse, get components, use a mdf ring in between door and speaker and sound proof it with stuff from ebay, its called ivanhoe, its what i used and stopped the rattles, much cheaper than dynamat

Yeah i understand that components will sounds better but i didnt really wana mount a tweeter. I was on a tight budget at the time and in my price range the sony ones seemed to sound the best. WHat speakers then would u recommend? I got a dynamat speaker kit and it hasnt made much different. It was original cos i couldnt get hold of the extreme stuff. THink i will have to get some ivanhoe to sort out my door as well. Gona get the sheet stuff and coat my doors? Do u know how much i will need and what that will cost?

I would get about 15ft of sound deadening to do the front doors you might have a bit left over but its always best to get more than less. You will be able to notice a difference for sure.

Yeah i think i will do. Also i want to stop my bad panel from rattling. When sound deading a boot will you see it or do you put it under a panel? Sorry if that is a stupid question lol.
btw nice fish! how big was that?

Just put the sound deadening under the carpet so you cant see it,it dose make a big difference,if you look through my progress you can see where i have put it on the floor lol.

Cheers,It was a 28lb 4oz mirror carp which i caught last weekend.
