I take it that it's the 200+ bhp that's tempting you and it's quarter times.

Yes?

I've got nothing against these cars but if you really want one, wouldn't you rather try finding a standard one so that you can experience the car as Toyota intended...at least for a while. Then, if you really want to, make your own mods.

I don't like the sound of it personally, ebay and all that.

It'll probably go wrong and cost you a bomb.

I'd stay away mate.

Everyone seems to be swapping to them and I bet it's been ragged all over.

It's nice but keep the sax, Gavcollier just went bang on him the other day, a lot of them have been ragged.

Japman

mine when bang because im running a stock manifold which is causing a restriction in number 3,as soon as i get a new manifold ill be back to 1.2bar

that one on ebay doesnt look like a good example tbh

but theres no way id pick any saxo over a GOOD well cared for Starlet

Jazz

personally wouldn't get a car like that off ebay. Its old and modded, most likely been ragged and rinsed endlessly, and you never know when it will go bang... besides mate, your SAxo looks better ;)

I love your VTR mate one of the nicest interiors :y: keep the sax, and hold on for another car because tbh that starlet looks pants compared to yours.

keep the saxo guarantee that starlet has been raped

i think it looks fine but i would be worried about the fact he bought it for a "project" now decided he wants a pissn boiler thats dodgy enough, he bought it with damage to it so god only knows what previous owners its had, then again could say that for ANY CAR, same as for the HAMMERING people say its had you cant say that and if its been look after itl be fine, its got low mileage like, considering he wants a new "boiler" id be worried about the fact hes now willign to trade for a car he never wanted, ie he wanted money now hes decided to just take a saxo :S

Wayne
29th October 2007, 12:27
stick with the saxo if the starlet has been well looked after go for it:y: still prefer the saxo for looks.

Karl

do it, but sort interior and wheels.

josh1989
29th October 2007, 12:30
i'd have a starlet, but only if i had the money to sort it if anythin went tits up, if i had one now and it broke, i'd have no chance

and i certainly wouldn't have it as a main car, just don't think i could trust it

they are very relaible proving you have the right parts to run it

i've heard so, just the right parts aren't cheap really, nice cars, something i'd have after i win the lottery (yes my plan)

ive just found out that the stock manifold causes most problems so id advise anyone who gets one to change that

im wary of anyone sellings cars who are willing to take there car as a trade in "unless there a garage"
