GT HD and Forza 2

Always wounded what GT HD would be like and after seeing alot of people big it up on there and reading lots of mixed views on other forums i thought i would give my input.

They are not even in the same league. Forza 2 is the better game by a long shot.

GT HD looks fecking awesome and much better looking then Forza. But the gameplay is not a patch.

The cars dont seem to be going fast, you dont get a feel for the speed like you do with forza. 80mph feels like 30mph. The whole handling is crap, feels like your on a train track and shit movement. Forza is much much better.

GT HD - disappointing.

what GT demo did you download mate, as for GT prologue you need to make a playstation network account with Japan as your region, the original GT HD demo has been out for ages, the GT Prologue one is better, the handling and the way cars move is more refined

GT has always been kinda slowwwish, which is disappointing.

never played Forza but only cos you'll never beat a driving experience like Live for Speed or GTR2 on the PC - proper race sims.

So no point.

I find it impossible to play Forza now ive played PGR4..

the handling and the speed is bloody dreadful.

but IMO Forza doesnt touch PGR.

i just find it completely impossible to play now...

The handling and speed on Forza is anything but dreadful, it's far more accurate and true to life than PGR will ever be, but that's because they are totally different kind of racing games.

Forza is a simulation racer so the handling and speed is very accurate and punishes you when you make a mistake. PGR4 on the other hand is an arcade racer where you can do impossible drifts and has very easy to use handling.

Downloaded the jap demo of GT. itis much better then the UK version on the PS3.

That in mind its still not a patch on Forza 2. So more realistic.

Forza 2 is better then PGR4 and GT HD, hands down
