When I paint my alloys, if I don't like the look, is it easy to take paint off with stripper? or will it mess up the chrome on the wheels?

On my BMX i used nitromors
its really good at taking off the paint, although tbh i dunno whether itl be any good on wheels.
if you leave it on for too long it will start eating the metal
and if you get it on your skin it burnns

Just don't want to b*gger up the chrome! would cost a bomb to re-chrome.

surely you cant just paint chrome wheels though, they would need sanding and prep work first....which would make them not very chrome

well you can but if you come to not liking them you wont be able to get the chrome back by stripping the paint back

but painting straight onto chrome wouldnt adhere properly would it? surely it would peel off fairly quickly

well all chrome is is a coating, so sanding it back would be ok, tbh id use nitromors then sand and etch primer them
