I want this done, and I'm going to give it a try myself.
But what exactly do I need? Obviously some Primer and Posi Blue paint, do I need to lacquer it aswell?
Also do I need to sand it down so It's smooth? If so what sandpaper would I need to use?
Cheers :y:

you will need to sand it till it's smooth, posi blue paint, primer and then lacquer it to protect the paint otherwise it will flake off not sure what sand paper you will need.

I would use wet and dry paper. Start off using a coarse 120 grit, then use a fine grade like 1200 or 1500 to get out any scratchs caused by the coarse paper. Will be smooth as ice then mate.
Primer, nice thin layers so the paint does not run. 4 or 5 thin layers of that, then rub down lightly with the fine wet and dry paper to get it nice and smooth.
Time for the posi blue paint now. Again nice and thin layers, don't be tempted to spray to much on at a time. More thin layers are much better then fewer think ones!
Once it is all evenly coated give it a couple more coats before using the laquer in the same way as the colour.
Let us know how you get on!
