What Sub?

Been looking to get a new sub for my car as the fact that my car sounds like I'm listening to my music through a tin can! Is beginning to get at me.

I'm looking to get a 12" sub as its better for all round sound. I reckon I have managed to narrow my choice down to these 2 -

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated...
Are these worth buying?? Any better suggestions in same price tag?? Any suggestions on an amp to use also??

a friend of mine has that pioneer sub, and i vouch for it, its brilliant, hes doubled it up with this amp. Been running around 7 months, no problems.

I know people dont rate theloudest.com however both me and him have been using virtually the same amp for almost a year with no problems.

My mate is also fond of the Loudest.com, and on the whole it seems ok, sometimes been a hit or a miss though.

Some of "theloudest" stuff claim massive power ratings! 2000w 6x9's for example! However, they only have a small RMS, which is the figure that counts! Always check out the RMS! Never build a system of max power ratings.

Im powering my comonents with a 1500w "loudest" amp. Cus its only 150w rms! Lol!;)

Thanks for the help. I got payed today so al see how many pennies I can free up. Gona go for the Pioneer I think. I'll post up again once I get my finger out :p
