Should I feel guilty???

I just had a shower, there was a spider at the side of shower, I looked at him and he looked at me and we had a connection for a few seconds. However I still turned the shower on.

He was scrambling for his life, trying to climb to safety away from the water and I just stood there in the nark watching him sqerm.

I JUST WATCHED HIM DIE!!!, Should I feel guilty?



Your thoughts please, I can't stop thinking about him :D

nope, i always leave them to die in a pint glass when i catch them. maybe move the glass about to give them some exercise lol

my favourite trick with spiders is to use them as an alarm:

i find one, put a mug (non-see through) on top of it, leave it somewhere like next to the kettle before i go to bed, my sister tends to be making a brew around the time i need to get up

so she will walk up to the kettle and think 'who's left that mug uspide down there and move it (very domesticated btw), she lifts it up, spider bombs it, she screams at top of her voice, voila i'm awake!!!!!!

I've never intentionally killed a spider i try my hardest to get them and chuck em out side.

In the summer one i had a spider every day in my room 'cause we have this ivy bush climber going up the side of the house...

Anyways i didn’t have carpet last year... you could hear them hitting the floor when they came into my room...

I'd turn around pick it up and lob it back out into the garden.

i neverrrr kill spiders i like em, they are there to protect us from disease infected fliiiiiies errrrrrr, we have had loads in the back room all i hear is andrrrrreeeeeeeeew get a big glass quick, i was moving the tv and knocked a glass with a big spider in and broke 2 of its legs it was limping around in a circle i couldnt bear to kill it or just leave it to suffer i had to get someone to take over and do the business, im sure i was a spider in previous life!

Bit harsh to be fair, should've just picked him up and threw him out the 1st floor window (or whatever floor your showers on) much more humaine way to die.

What would you prefer to die?
Drowning in the river Thames or Skydiving accident.
