probably anything between £60-150 dependant on where you go and how stuck it is...

Do it yourself, just get a slide hammer and read a guide, its easy to do in principle and if you have the correct tools will be fine, especially as your mate used to be a mechanic..:d

if you live near leicestershire/east midlands send a PM to jpsaxo. they did mine for me and did it the proper way. they got it exactly as i wanted it. they've done loads of them so know exactly what they are doing. cost me £75.

send a PM to jpsaxo

Josh is back at Uni now in Nottingham and only home briefly at weekends. May be able to do it though once hes got his car fully back on the road.

Done 3 Saxo's now and to be fair ive always found the front much harder and took longer than the rear.

With a good slide hammer the rear generally doesnt seem to be too bad if you grease everything up well beforehand.

Things to be careful of on the rear IMO is undoing the 4 torx bolts that sit in each end of the torsion bars, these rust and can round quickly if your not careful, strongly suggest replacing them with some stainless steel hex headed bolts instead :y:

£40 to get it done up here.....

Its fucking piss to be honest...... if they are stuck get the blow torch out (small hand held one from bnq will do) heat the torsion bars (not right in the middle of the bar be pointless) at either ends and get your mate with a metal pole to keep hammering it while you are heating it.

I advise WD40 it few hours before and when your grafting keep WD40'in watch when blow torching cos it catches fire just keep moving torch on and off blowing the fire out, watch not to burn brake cables etc......

Oh and make sure you take the washers out, probably the hardest part!

also as said above the torx bits will be what fuck, wd40 them aswel, we chizzeld mine out after 2 mins of mincing on with mine, just use a bolt in replacement!
