hiya i had a ashley exhaust fitted to me car yesterday, then today when i was driving around. i stopped and the car started vibrating heavily, but when i accerlate it stops. I thought at first it was because the exhaust was vibrating on the car but it aint touchin it, but now i think it might be engine mounts. Some1 told me it might be coil pack as his interga type r did the same sorta thing, anyone else have this problem if so what was it cheers

It sounds like it's the engine mount matey, best to get it checked soon before your engine falls out ;)

Nope. should be around £40-£90. But you can easily do it yourself if you buy the part, should take around 10-15 mins.

when i bought my car and didnt come on here i panicked and went to citroen they charged 100 pounds for diagnosing problem, part and labour. turns out it was engine mounting mate. almost guarantee it.

yes mate sounds like its the engine mount underneath the ecu. the engine wont fall out but all bolts will become lose with the vibrations if you just leave it like i did. the eingine mount is around £75 inc VAT but i suggest you change the bolt inside the mount itself being as mine went again after 3k miles. i put a hightensile steel bolt in mine and its still goin strong 7k miles later

i think is the mounting suports or its surroudings. the problem is that king of supports are made with rubber, and the simptoms that it gives when they are wrecked is some noise during startup, braking, start going forward, etc. It the vibration is to heavy maybe you have some other thing broken besides the engine mounts, maybe the place where it screws.

cheers
