you could ty using one of those dent puller things see if you can pull it out other wise to get a non-dented finish it could mean some filling and spraying

I would contact a paintless dent removal company. They do a pretty good job, the dent will not be visible after they have done it. Would cost around £50 though.

i know we'd charge £150 min for pulling a dent like that out, but its alot cheaper if theres no damage to the plastic as it can be sorted fairly easily then.

If you just pop it out, it wont be perfect. You'll be able to see where it has been and where it hasn't popped back out into the perfect position.
If you had reversed into my car I wouldn't want it done on the cheap, I'd want it done properly and you're looking at at least £100-150. If you weren't going to pay I'd claim off your insurance, you have to take responsibility for your mistakes and bite the bullet.

should watch where your going then you wouldnt be in this predicoment
also, beatin dents out tends to leave the odd ripple/ding

read what we're saying rather than take offence. You can't just push them out or you'll created ripples and creases where the dent was, they need to be pulled out professionally and possibly even fillered and re-sprayed.

i did it to my ex-bosses van, stood on roof, massive dent, banged it back out, he didnt notice for over a month tho, so i got away with it.
as said, best bet is to get it pulled by a pro, nocking it back out WILL leave creases and whatnot in the metal

Thats alright, just be more carefull in future :P
If the dent isn't too big, might be worth checking at Halfords. They do a scratch and dent service which is done by a company called "Shine". Their work is pretty good too. Failing that some1 like chips away would probably be able to help

think that might cost then actually from Halfords. IIRC thats would fall in the £155 band on the quote sheet. Ask at the parts desk (if you can find some1 helpful :-/)

Yeah most of it is labour costs ie you want your engine changing and you supply engine some one will want paid for there time. A bit like if you work you do the job you get paid.
Gazzza
9th November 2007, 16:15
yea but its about 500 quid in labour which one guy sucked out mostt of the dent in less than 10 sec :)

Tbh, if a mate did that to me, I'd scam them for loads.
