A whole day if youve never done it before mate.

Headunit takes about half an hour if you have to switch the remote and power cables, which you prob will.

Sub and amp will take about 3 hours + unless youve already made the wooden base floor for it to go on.

Fitting the comps and getting the tweeters in the right place will prob take two hours minimum if youve not done it before.

Will be worth it though

i wouldnt say a whole day the hardest part is getting the cable to the battery through the bulkhead

i did a few stickies for reference

if you know what your doing id say you will have it done in about 2 hours max, take the seats out to make things easier, also an excuse to get the hoover in there :y:

Half hour for the headunit? would say 15 mins, its not that hard a job really.
Installing the sub and amp (if you dont bother with the wooden base) when i did it took just over an hourish

good luck anyways!

I would do it over a few days tbh as the satisfaction of doing it will last longer. Will take a while to do the amps and subs. It took me only 15mins to fit a headunit - easiest thing to do imo

Make sure you swap the lives on the head unit, so it saves radio stations etc :)

Takes 10 mins max at work for a saxo head unit, depends how quickly old one comes out

you dont always have to swap the lives over

Fair enough. i like to take my time with wiring so things dont blow. And routing a power cable to the back of the car, then routing all the other cables down the car, installing the comps in the doors and fitting the tweeters properly isnt gonna be a quick job if you do it properly.

I took about 4 hours making my base floor but again its the exact size of the boot to the mm cus i like to do things properly

Mine went staight through to the engiane bay to the battery .

I still don't see why people say it's hard to get it though .
