My radiator blew the other night making the car undrivable. I have a vts one ready to go in, went to fit it last night thinking we could cut the coolant pipe to accomodate the bigger size. Well, my mechanic advised against this. Also, i got told using the old fan wouldn't be a problem. It won't fit and is also knackered :(
Anywho, is it worth me fitting the bigger rad? I thought it might help with keeping the temp down but it just seems like hasstle. I need the new fan unit anyway, but should i just replace the rad with a new one or replace the coolant pipe with a vts one?
Is it worth changing the pipe for the bigger rad?
