Hi gents, I'm going to re-spray my wheels from white to black. Now whats the best way of covering the tyres from getting sprayed?

Newspaper and masking tape.

I was gonna go with gaffa tape as I think that would be less absorbant than paper. I was wondering if there was anything better than that though lol

Why would you want it to be less absorbent? The paint wont go through the newspaper.

No i mean the paper would be less abosrbant as the outside of gaffa tape has a plastic coating (like a sealant)

oh and let the tyre down and pop the beading around the rim, will make it easier to mask up

What has absorbency got to do with it? The newspaper will stop the paint getting on the tyres, simple.

All you need is alot of newspaper and masking tape .

Newspaper is fine and will not absorbe the paint and get on to the tyres , double up the paper if your worried about getting it on the tyres .
