Benefits from my crash...

On July the 21st i was soo happy.. just got with the lass i really liked, spent most of the day with her. I had an amazing day.. i dropped her home on a 7 mile drive and started my drive back.. Because i was in such a good mood i thought ah i'll take a bit of a detour and went about a 9 mile drive not much difference just nice to get out on your own and chill too :y: Boshing away to my music with my 2x 1600 watt CBR Vibe Subs in a 1.2 clio :y: haha.. came to a roundabout which has a blind left turn... so i looks right and creeps out and looks left... still couldn't see so creeped out more and smash all i see is a Fiat Skudo Van heading towards me fast so i slammed on my brakes and the guy puts me through a fence.

My head switches off...

Wake up in hospital with my new girlfriend and my mum at my side asking if i was ok said i was in a car accident and the car is basically a write off... left wheel had snapped from the bolts and stuck cleanly into the suspension springs. Axel had basically shattered a right mess more damage under bonnet really... Door had bent at hinge the "Strongest part" on a door... i didn't think much of it as i had a big head ache..

Got released from hospital and went to see my car which had been recovered to a nearby holding yard..

Claimed whiplash next sprain broken collar bone and 4 stitches to my head... had to travel to hull for examinations for a week to keep an eye on things...

Then i decided well i can't go without a car and my girlfriend said get a saxo... i thought yeah they are quite cool i'll get a VTR on a VTS though want something with guts.. :y:

So i came across my little beaut on ebay :y: :y:

It was listed for £850 auction and had a day remaining. I rang the number on ebay and luckily he was local and he was at tesco round the corner.. so off i went in my courtesy car 07 punto from Drive Assist! Got there fell in love... only one fag burn in back seat all other seats immaculate... So we made a deal i said how much is the least u'll take and he said £1000 so i said i'll take it for 1k then.. He said ok deal :clapping: Got home and the listing had a bid for £1150 now who the fuck would give someone an extra £350 for a car at a bid of £800 i smelt bullsh*t in the air.. So i rang him up confronting him and he said a deal was a deal its yours... picked it up and loved it since... no problems a years MOT and 6 months TAX

Took it to garage had all new discs and pads and new shocks and 4 new tyres £250 fitted..

since i've had it... it has no smokers smell but febreeze i bought for £1 :y: and has been shampoo'd inside and washed regularly..


The good bit...

Woke up this morning having been laid off from work petrol is low and feeling shitty as i had no job and no money coming through... checked my bank earlier as i took my girlfriend to college it said i had £2,750 :fcuk: :fcuk:

I rang the bank and they said it's been deposited in my bank from a medi Rep company... medi rep??

Then i clicked... it was compensation for my injuries... :drink: :drink: Now i can finally do some work on my car and give it the attention it needs and maybe a holiday next year somewhere :y: Going to buy the Autoglym Valeting kit frm halfrauds £40 and get stuck in tomorrow... going to buy a few more nice bits and bobs too :y:

So really this crash has done me many favours...

Got rid of a renault clio which had 117k+ miles Worn clutch and gearbox, Grinding drive shafts and a gay noise from the back which was going to cost me...
Bought a better car more reliable like it more..
Got £2750 for just being in pain for 2 weeks

it was his fault as he failed to give way to the right at a roundabout :n: police on scene rounded it down to his fault as he approached the round at excessive speed with no intent to slow down or stop for other drivers.

i really would get a job before blowing the lot, tbh spend some on the sax but screw yer head on aswell
