GTI in my opinion, nicer seats, nicer dash (lol) and better looks on the outside, plus rarer and i think cheaper to insure

A gti will cost about the same to insure as a vts they have got the same engines.

Go for the gti then as you will only reget it if you get a vtr after a while.

Gti - more expensive to buy, run & insure

GTI - insurance group 13
VTS - insurance group 14
VTR - insurance group 7

Ive got a VTR, and saving me quite alot of money....its all i need in a car, i.e enough power to overtake, reasonably quick imo

I think when most people chat about a GTI, its always the bigger engine version lol

I'd go for the GTI

If you go for the VTR you'll just want to add bits to make it go faster!

save you in the long run!

The only 1.3 106 is the series 1 rallye.

Do you mean a quiksilver (1.4 gti kit) or series 2 rallye (1.6 8 valve)?

GTI is an insurance group less

Go for the GTi if you can afford it. :y:

The 1.3 GTi would be pretty rare to come by these days lol
