current can transfer money in and out whenever u want, and have low interest
saving accounts have restrictions on moving money around and have high interest.

current account u just get a card to take stuff out from machine and whatnot, savings puts money in and is a coont to get out, i think anyway

its in the name.... current has all your current account activities and transactions (eg. direct debits etc) and a savings account is for savings, don't normally allow transactions like switch payments etc

You can have standing orders and direct debits set up on current accounts. You cant on savings accounts.
