its been flashing since I got the car, just wondered how to fix it. Is the connection under the passenger or drivers seat?

Check both, mine was the passanger side. It's a good idea to redo the connections with a crimping tool set:y:

Its often the seatbelt tensioner conections under the driver passinger seat, IIRC is an orange wire, check and clean the connections!
