I have just recently got a new car and the previous owner had this alarm installed. However the manual is pretty shocking to say the least and jsut wondered if anyone could clarify a few things for me.
Firstly does the alarm have window sensors that chirp when your near the window.
Also how do I set the alarm off to test its actually working, is there a button I need to press and hold for example?

the g5 range do not have panic feature even though it says it does in the manual, yes it should have a prox sensor but it all depends on who fitted it, i would say you are best putting the car into a shop that is clifford approved and getting them to check the alarm over. That is a £500 + alarm that is on the car so make shore it is working properly.

Just been readin up, it seems that the siren on my alarm is nackered.
Going to look at replacing batteries if not, then need to buy a new siren!
