Yea I think so. Saw it on eGay though. Apparently it had been viewed previously but there were a few problems with the fuelling so culdnt sell it. He had a new fuelling management fitted and a remap beginning of the month. Got Dyno printouts and receipt.
Need a new driveshaft though I think- started making noises this afternoon so hope its OK!
Pics should be up tonight.

I doubt that, a big claim, throw in a wet road and a few bends;)
It isn't going to be slow but I think you should get a few spare shafts and a gearbox, ask Simo;)

On a straight it is quicker than a scooby. But as you can imagine a scooby is a lot quicker round and out of the bends.
Funny you should mention the drive shafts lol. I noticed a funny noise today- was kinda going clunk clunk clunk at sort of 1 or 2 second intervals. Been told its a CB joint (think thats what it is lol)- not expensive so not too bothered. Worst case scenario is I need a new driveshaft. Bout £80 new I think or a visit to the breakers :p
I looked in to some strengthened drive shafts but CiTuning want about £400 EACH! Tried kam racing but nothing listed on site. Any where else i can get them?
i take it this was a spur of the moment thing.
Ive been wanting a turbo car for a while. Wanted to turbo my VTR but was far too expensive. So looked around and come across this one.

Right, here we go. The anticipated pictures.
Before you look I have added the following!
1) replaced standard VTS wheels with my White OZ Turismo WRC
2) replaced standard front grill with my Dimma Style Grill
3) Brand New Pioneer CD/MP3/iPod player
Im not too sure what I think of the rear spoiler (was on the car when I bought it) so honest opinions please!

Hi,
Ive actually spoken to this guy. He sent me an email when he found out that I had bought the car. He told me exactly the same.
As you can see from the pics his descrition of the car is a little far fetched. Either that or maybe the guy that had it that I got it from has cleaned it up abit. The smoke out the exhaust may have been down to the fuelling issue that he told me about when I went to see it. The fuel management system wasnt working but I have a receipt that says a new fuel management chip was installed and then re-mapped. This was only done at the beginning of this month!
It does give a little smoke but Ive had it looked at and its just a seal that needs replacing- not expensive at all. The actual bonnet scoop isnt cracked but does have signs of the paint cracking where the wind gets under it but Ill either get my mate to fit a proper scoop that aint fibre glass, or Ill just replace it with a standard bonnet.

Waiting for a day that aint raining so I can give it a good clean.
Any suggestions for a replacement spoiler as I think I'd like something other than the standard cause dont want the back end getting light when I hitting speeds of what its capable of- especially when I take it to the next track day- want the back end kept down through those corners lol :)

Gonna go out tomorrow and look for a good condition standard bonnet. Theres a peugeot and citroen brakers in maidstone that Im gonna pop down to.
Not sure about rear spoiler- will be going but not too sure what to replace it with.
Next dry day and the car will get a thorough clean inside and out.
Its lightening quick. Im hoping to get Saturday night off work so I can go to the SE meet in lakeside.
