I have just found out my mate Mike has just bought a focus for a sneaky little project.

He's a mechanic by trade and was building a 3 door sierra cossie. Well, he's sold the sierra and now has this beasty. I'll update the thread when i get updates.

Yep shes sold, The one car I though I would never sell and shes ready to be taken away by her new owner next week. Im really really gunna miss it. Athough to be fair it was a shed I just don't have the money or the time to fix it up. everytime I went down to work on it I was oonly disheartened by another patch of rust and it was starting to upset me knowing it was sitting there and getting worse.

So I brough a new project :) its rust free due to being fearly new and it will take my cossie engine. im really really happy with it.

My new FOrd FoCos zetec 4x4

I think i remember Karl, sounds awsome though!

Think i'm gonna take a trip up to his gaff on wednesday to have a good poke about. I know he's been building the engine for about 3 years now due to lack of funds but it should be amazing when it's done :)

I don't think he did the work himself, pretty sure he has bought the shell like that. Not 100% sure, just saw it on surrey modified.

Cosworth yb i believe, he started building it when he was 16. Over the years has bought more and more. Recently he started a mobile mechanic business (handy for me) which means the money is rolling in now. Can now finish the project :)

If he needs any help with mating up the bell housing for the gearbox I can put him in touch with a fella local to me that built the mad cossie powered Puma a few years ago.

I assume he'd be using the mt75 box??? Standard RS2000 4x4 running gear fits quite neatly in the focus shell and will allow youto mate up to the cossie lump if it's mounted the right way (as in the wroong way for a cossie!)

good job with the AP's on this update.
