lowering my saxxx

im thinking 40 all round or 40/50?? or 40/45 what do you all think

any good places to buy the springs?

I'm looking to do this as well, but know nothing about it.. apart form I need springs, which I think i'm getting either from a scrap yard or from where my mum works

What is a suitable height to lower it? For speedbumps and kirbs and such xD

Get it lowered on a full kit, with the shocks, springs etc.
Mine is 40mm, and it still handles well and looks good. If you're not too bothered about your handling && just want it to look good, then go lower?
