does anybody roughly how much a cv joint would cost to get replaced?

i got my mates saxo VTS cv joint for £55

went to a scrap yard and got a driveshaft for a tenner for my mates 106 quicksilver and fitted it ourselves

are they easy to fit? im the sort of person that can near enough figgure most things out if i left to it.
