i've just bought some gti 6 brakes.

what would be a good m/c to use as i dont like the travel in the pedal at the moment, it almost goes all the way to the floor before the brakes even start to work.

links would be helpful as i dont have a clue.

thanks :)

23mm iirc,
for a vts - 306 GTi-6.
for a vtr - 406 v6.

if you have a vts stick with the vts mc, it should be 22 or 23, 23 is the same as the gti 6 mc so a pointless upgrade imo

and if its a vtr, you dont want the 406 v6 mc, you want a non abs 406

I thought the 406 v6 was non ABS?

If you can get a cheap 23mm one go for that, but I use my standard VTR one, still bites real nice about half way down at the most, and still almost went through the window the first time I used the 283mm stoppers :P

would it be possible to use a vts m/c as that will probly be the simplest wont it?

could be, but you would need to t-piece your brake lines from the master cylinder though as I think the vts master cylinders are 2 port since they have abs, although I'm not sure for them all though.
