im looking at gettin a vibe SQ12 active sub (space 12") any1 know how good it is or how good an enclosed 12" space sub is? can any1 suggest anythin better for 220 quid? (im lookin for low bass) cheers

I personally think these are good subs, i havent heard them but ive got the modal down the VIBE Blackair 2 and there resonable, and i do wanna upgrade to these
And for the enclosed subs the bandpass ones i reckon sound alot better IMO
Though there is better Subs out there for the Price but i do like VIBE :y:

I wouldnt go for that, not for £220 anyway!! Get an amp and a passive sub. It'll be much better imo:y:
Saying that, i heard a vibe space powered by a jbl mono amp and it sounded really good! The amp will most certainly be the weakpoint in it mate!

if your on a budget for subs there is nothing better than JBL :y:

cheers. with active subs can you get a seperate amp and wire it to the sub and wire the amp thats built in to something else?

You prob can but i should imagen the built in amp will not have any crossovers for you to join the amp to some comps, im only guessing though
