After reading about people not being covered by there insurer because they havent declared alloys, iv decided that if i want alloys im gonna have to ring my insurance company before i get them. thing is im not sure how much it will go up by.

Is it likely that they won't insure me with alloy wheels? OR how much is it likely to go up by? Not stupidly i hope.

But if you didnt tell them and you were in an accident which you had to claim, couldnt they refuse to payout? I thought they could just refuse to cover the cost of the alloys and not the entire thing? But Im unsure about things like these lol.

Get insured and then ring them up about a week or so after mate

Always the best way to do it and if they charge its only about %10 iirc for most companies, who you with/looking at?

Put on a good voice and just call them up, its only a question anyways so you shouldnt have to be the policy holder to get an answer
