Sounds a bit of a pickle to me...

Can he not get a letter or something from the local shops he buys from and some signatures?

Other than that i dont know, unless he passes on the shops contact details to paypal and they could ring them up...

Im still waiting on paypal unfreezing my account, which has 300+ quid in it. This was because of a bank problem from the buyer apparently, and despite me meeting all the seller protection criteria, paypal are still dragging their heels.

Cunts.

mate, best option is to phone them, then phone again, and again.

i had a problem with my account due to 3rd party hacking, just had to keep on at them and explain the situation. when you do talk to them, be hirm and don't let them fob you off, but don't be rude to them, take names of people you talk to, then when you phone again you can say you spoke to *person* and that they said *whatever* and its not been done.

its a pain in the arse but it's the easiest way to get things done with them.
