Does this sign, on a dual carrigeway//motorway mean 70mph...?

I'm 98% sure it does, but for some reason I can't help but think it means 60...

Depends on the road mate. If a motorway its 70, but some smaller dual carriage ways its 60.

If its used on a Dual Carriageway then it means NATIONAL SPEED LIMIT which
is 70mph.

Without it on a dual carriage way yes its usually 50 or 60. There are some 50mph
dual carriage ways around mine before you guys start!

the only place it means 70 is on dual carriageways but only ones with a central reservation


All other times it means 60 simple as that.

If there are other limits ie 40 50 ect there will be a sign saying whatever it is.

means national speed limit apply's got these round my area when the 30 zone finishes you can speed up to 60mph same with the motorway.

Not any dual carriageway is 70 there needs to be a central reservation. If its a duel carriageway without its 60.
