SORN

wasnt sure where to post but was getting insurance so thought id whack it here


went to get quotes on my vtr, which is actually SORN...

but i put in the reg, and it came up as a mondeo :S

is this because its sorn......or summit worse :S

it wont be due it being SORN, you can still get a quote on a car registerred as SORN.

are you sure you put the reg plate in properly?

otherwise it could be something very dodgy.

and im gettin quotes like £1500 tpft on a vtr, thats only worth half that lol

it could simply be an administration error on the database. Do you have a service history and logbook for the car - if your paperwork is correct then you have less to worry about - also when previously insuring the car it would have been flagged up as they use DVLA databases to check cars.

yea ive got the logbook, plus the reg matches up from previous owners pics...
