Nitro RC cars

Does anyone on here have or race nitro remote control cars or truck?

If so what kind of cars you got? Ive got a HPI Savge which hardly gets used and ill prob be selling

I got a Traxxas Nitro Sport SE and HPi MT2

I got about 12 electric cars and use HPI and Yokomos.

Raced them in national championships from the age of 12.

Electric is far more easier and cheaper imo.

Yep, have got a thunder tiger ssk v2 - 2 speed. Use mine a lot in the summer, but then it goes into storage for winter. Roll on summer. lol.

My electric one HPI pro 4 beet nitro cars, was hopped up to the hard edition with a 6 turn motor, or cabron and alloy parts

Colin what car did you race i did the junior national scene at Sheffield a few times and some small club championships also the schumacher cup, I raced with a Team xray t2 with a 9X3 motor ?

how do you work out the gearing and what not?

also, my ESC has a 15 turn limit, what motor would go best with that?

I used to race electric ones and I've just got a TT-01 for some fun, hopefully getting a new motor for it for I can bomb it around tonight cus its not fully working yet!

Anything over a 15 turn motor would work with that.

ok wel then the lwoer turn the motor is the faster the car basically, so i race stock which is 27 turn and thats pretty nippy, i had a team orion 6 turn which was rappid and kicked my bros nitro thunder tiger tt01 i think and a few savages

Id say a 19 turn.

I use a team orion 19 turn that I raced in superstock. It had the v2 endbell and was a good motor!

Any race bred Orion motor is good. I had one of them and it was ace.

Norsrom dominator ESC is what i had handle all turn mototrs and is the size of a 50 pence piece!

Yes that is a pretty good motor. The one you posted before is shit to be honest. This 19t will be faster.

I have loads of 19t and Mod motors for sale at the moment. Just getting rid of the ones i used last season. I only use a motor for a maimum of 2 meetings then sell them on. As they loose a little edge and when you race like i do you need new ones im a sponsored driver so get the good ones to. People at my local club buy them off me normaly.

The guy with the Pro 4 that brings back some memmories i can tell you and huge repair and rebuild bills. That was a pretty good car in its day just broke all the time. After that i had a Xray T2 great car now drive a Schumacher Mi3

I have a CEN truck, its a mess at the minute tho ...broke the two front drive shafts last month in the same nite! broke one, managed to fix it. then an hour later i broke the second and lost it! then to finish off a great nite my pull cord broke... i was soo p'd off i put it away and havent looked at it since! lol....
