i bought a 205 gti off a man at rhayder it had bin in pug performance magazine just over a year ago, it had no engine when i bought it but come with custom full bodykit which the owner had made before, it had a front bumper with spot lights in a a big open month for mesh, look very good because it had the mesh smily grill aswell, the bach bumper was custom made to house the twin 4inch magtex exhaust, the side skirts were made with arches blended in.

Its j reg so before the cat convertor so its go a stright though stainless steel pipe which then branched in to the custome two back boxes, has a 4 branch maninfold aswell, only being the 1.6 gti it has drums on the back so bought the rear beam off a 1.9 gti with disc to put on, they put the 205 automatic bonnet on because they came with the bulge in them. single wiper conversion and scuttle panel, then he had some door mirors made which cost 100 pound:shocked: , inside it has had the doorcards carpets and the chequers on the seats changed from red to green, the door locks hace moved and has a central locking kit and imobilior putin.

Then they smoothed the boot all up removed wiper, lock.washers and grill off the bottom them had the boot popper put on the central locking keyring. it has white lockwood dials. i have just bought two engines so that i can build one good one, my dad is a mechanic and will help me build a good one over winter, my best mates dad does spraying so he offered to spray it for me in glitter paint will also get some new alloys when it has bin sprayed :d have a look at my pictures and see what you think

Yeh looks like a good canvas for a project.

All the best with it.

not too bad, the Saxo infront is shocking though.

I think it will look quite good when done tbh... Leave the outside how it is atm, just repair what needs doing, then respray in same colour.

noooo not glitter paint. That green is perfect.

I'd change the arches to the later model black ones that would give a nice contrast then concentrate on making it faster.
