Got a bonus at work which im putting towards a new car :-) got an extra £1300 for getting to new people to starts back in august:clapping: totally forgot about the cash woop woop

2 totally different cars but i would prefer the astra as it needs work doing to it. The escort is lovely aswell

i more for the astra as it needs work doing an has a decent engine in it. But i would like the turbo as i had a replica when i was 16( 1.3bonus) an never put it on the road as it was rotten

yea my old one was rotten. battery tray was pretty much gone. as for the sills they were pretymuch gone aswell lol

It an white ex police astra but with the gsi turbo z20let in it. Ruff on the outside 2 door, white, turbo spoiler interior but the paint is goosed lol

Hmmmm, well I'm gonna be bias here..... go for the Astra.... the engine is one of the finest Vauxhall have produced and can be easily tuned up at either Regal or Courtenay or 888.

The RS Turbo is a nice car, but the engine is well dated now and nowhere near as reliable.

By the way, it wasn't just the GSI that had the Z20LET engine in it.... I have an Astra Coupe with that same engine in it.

The astra doesnt look too good 2 me, looks like it hasnt been looked after. The escort is lovely but wont be reliable as said. Hard choice but id go for the escort... ah well its up to u :) good look

Sounds like some good plans mate!!!!

Keep an eye out on eBay as sometimes the Irmsher splitters come up on there!

You could also keep an eye out on the Astra Owners Club forum for any parts on there... plus they are great if you need any advise on the car.

Might even be able to pick up a set of cheap Astra Turbo Alloys.

Look for a leather set?!?!?!

Think I saw a full Linea Rossa interior on eBay the other day.... was black and red leather!! Mine is a Linea Rossa, but has a full cream leather interior.
