Sound System

Hi All Just need some advice on a sound system and a few other things. So ill list a few questions underneath and see if any of you can be of assistance to me. Thanks Bri

1) How much Sound deadening will I need to cover the front doors, the boot floor and the boot lip? (E.g. 9 square foot etc)

2) I have decided I want a 3 piece component set (tweeters, 13cm front speakers and components) and wonder wot you guys recommend? (looking to spend around £50-£70 on these)

3) The next question is which amp? (Bearing in mind im in the process of building a false floor so the amp will be on display) Not sure wot a decent amp would cost me

4) Also noticed I could have 2 amps? And have 1 running to the sub and one powering the speakers, correct me if im wrong?

5) The next question is what Sub ( iv decided upon a 12”) but which one? Once again not sure on wot a decent sub would cost me

6) Last question is I need a big fuse running to the battery if im correct? If so could any1 recommend a decent kit?

Would appreciate people posting up links and advice on where to buy or order products from. Rep will be given to every1 who helps me :y:

1) Not too sure on that mate. Measure it and find out.

2) These are good for £70 http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/dynamics-sd52-p-5522.html

3) Sub amp i take it you mean... All depends on budget tbh. If your looking for under £100 stick with JBL.

4) Correct. Get a mono sub amp and a 2 channel amp for components.

5) Again, all dependant on budget, but stick with JBL and £50 will get you a good sounding sub.

6) You can get wiring kits anywhere really, even halfrauds arent too dear for them. Fuses can be any size dependant on size of amps, subs etc. Even this cheapy would do the trick. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/audio-8awg-p-6011.html

Carudiodirect is a good place for car audio.
