just a question to you spraks out there or trainee's
how do i go about getting my JIB card , and what should i apply for it as apprentice, trainee, electricians mate ?, ive got my C&G 2330 level 2 and due to complete level 3 January at the latest and working on my NVQ Level 3 atm as well, need the card asap really as i get an extra £2 an hour when i get it.

thanks for any advice in advance

p.s. ive tried ringing them on the number on the website but never seem to get an answer

You wont get the card until you have completed your level 3 nvq and part p

you can get a card before it has been completed !

the only card you can get until youve passed your main exam am2 2330 thingey is one that says apprentice on it fella.

you cant get a card that says electrician if you aint passed your test if you get me.

unless ive totally mis understood the question

anyway jam thought u gave up on it to be in the fire service or something?

im a 2nd year apprentice up here in edinburgh, but i think its all completley diffrent up here. we dont do part p or any of that. craig1989

nah robbo u can get a jib card that says apprentice or trainee or electricians mate, still waiting for police to get back to me just finishing off the course.
and i dont have to do AM2 now all included in the 2330
