how to remove spyware???

i have installed msn plus a while ago, but now i'm on msn 7!

but with msn there's a sponser site... which was set to my homepage and there was a taskbar coming up everytime i opened the net... so i changed my homepage back to google and just closed but taskbar...

but today the taskbar wont close... i've done a search on my pc and nothing... but in the box was what i wanted to delete!!! i can't find it on add and remove programmes on control panel...

msn plus isn't on my pc no more becuase i deleted it but can anyone tell me how to get the taskbar off becuase it wont close?

have you tried the Ctrl-Alt and delete

all the programmes that are up an running will be shown in the window that you can end

nope it isn't there! only msn, all my convo's, google, few bits on bobs and thats it!!! it';s rely annoying me!! smileys/smiley5.gif

ya need to download spy ware remover like "spy sweeper" or "spybot s&d" to get rid of it

get microsoft antispyware, best one I have found.

download it from www.download.com (http://www.download.com). Its ace.

I ran a spybot Search and Destroy at the same time as Microsoft antispyware.

S&D found 3 ..
M/antispyware found 44!! Says alot really!

You can use all those programs, but the taskbar will stay. You have installed it when you installed Plus. (next time, remove the tag).
The only way afaik is to restore the registry backup.

PS the best spyware remove programm is "hitman" as it's several programs in one (like adaware, search and destroy, etc.).

i still cant get on hotmail!everytime i put password in it goes to inbox but then the comp makes a noise and then goes to anotha page! its really annoying!

spoke to al bout it and downloaded microsoft anit spyware but that didnt help! my norton anti virus keeps on saying its has a problem so i uninstall it and then re-install it but it does the same thing again!

any ideas welcome!

Iwas speaking to al about this yesterday, i was telling someone about using msn 7.0
They said they didnt have it so i went a hunting to give them a link, i accidently clicked on msn 7.0 with foreign language BIG FUKIN OOPS !!!!

It sent like 50 dialler threats, 10 Trojans flooding onto my comp, iv got spy sweeper and norton and spy bot search and destroy and it still got to my comp.
Just watch what your clicking on.

Iv got about 8 left now and havent a clue how to get rid of them, but everything is kinda going ok now.

i got on the net finally with out the bar coming up!!! well... through msn today rely! in the past fred it's always closed!!!

i've searched through about 60,000 files on my pc and nothing is coming up on Mc Afee or search and destroy!

i'm thinkin about reseting my pc now....
