I have got my no claims bonus on my policy but at the same time i made a claim against some chav who wrote off my old 106 and this cancels out my no claims!! wtf?! it wasnt my fault and his insurance paid out so surely he should be the one getting the higher insurance premium not me? i asked my insurance (endsleigh) and they said it was because the fact that i have had one accident makes me likely to have another. now surely i pay for this risk by having an higher premium for my postcode in chavsville?!
anyone had this and do you think i would benifit from switching companies or would i have to declare this non-fault accident and get penalised for it anywhere i go?!!

grrrr!!! b%^&*d chav has just stuck his bumper back on with gaffer tape and is riding around in his L reg mondeo (its an old chav)

its true, if u ever get hit whether ur fault or not ur insurance will increase.

non fault claims only push it up small amounts tho! unlike a claim..

Did they not ask you if you've been in an accident, regardless of fault?

I think it's the biggest con ever!! Although im lucky enough not to experiance it, I think you should be in your rights to claim the increase off the other driver's insurance surely? to put things right

the same thing happened to my other half, he had his ncb taken off him through a no fault accident but when it was all sorted he had them all back.

yeh u should of mate, theyll know that uve had an incident they always do

back too topic, they shouldnt increase your premium after being involved in a non fault incident, aslong as theyve recovered all there costs
