just got one of these -

Any advice on fitting? ie where does itgo exactly etc thanks ! got the new linkages too but ill check the group buy post that will probably say how to fit them.

No worries. I had one fitted on friday - Only I had a garage do it at the same time as giving it a service... Feel alot stiffer, but sometimes can be a struggle to get into first... Apparently that's my linkages though, so you should have no problems.

I already have the whole dropping from 2nd into 1st issues, think thats just a standard saxo problem. and yeah hoping linkages fix it up as some people said it did after there group buy ones :)

If it does get stuck just remember it's most likely the loom, had to move mine out the way.

mine was dead easy to fix... i just drove it into Manic motors, gave them the keys and picked up the next day and gave them £15 for fitting it. They also replaced the linkage pin at the same time which si the reason for poor gear selection. Feels like brand new now, only with half the distance to move the gear lever.

same problem with getting into first ! oh i should have purchased one and got garage to fit it too, idiot i am. saxo gone in for service today, its taking agggess :(
