stick with norton:y:
Dis-agree hate the thing, tis such a huge piece of software aswell, and its slows your computer speed down alot, get rind and get AVG its free, and takes care of itself unlike norton, plus its smaller and can run in the background and is so much better!

Agree the Pc slows down so much it's sometimes Unbearable. AVG is good as it's free. But Nod32 is still my favourite.

Can't comment as personally haven't tried Nod32, well no need with AVG, just like you'll ahve no need having AVG if you got Nod

Nortons crap, thinks half the winsock files are viruses.
Mcaffe is good, if you are willing to pay.
But you cant go wrong with AVG or Avast, they updare regularly and are up to date with the latest viruses.
Make sure you turn off that stupid voice on avast though lol

To be honest mate, i've been using computers since i was able to press keys on the keyboard. All anti-virus programs just slow your computer down imo.
What i do:
My laptop came with norton, what a load of shit. Control panel, add and remove, unistall shitty virus protection.
System restore point (Computer working fine).
Back up all my shit onto DVDs
Every two months or so, Delete unused files, Disk Defrag, Download AVG (Free), Update AVG, Do a scan, Get rid of any viruses if i got any (Never get any, dont go on dodgey sites).
Once AVG finished scanning and got rid of viruses, then I just unistall AVG, and bobs you uncle. Computer running great.
If anything does really fuck up then i got a system restore point, and all my files backed up
Hope this helps pal.
Edit: Also check my router to see if anyone else is on it. Also try not to use Shared files, as they are easier for hackers to get to, for the simple reason that they only need to get onto your network, not your computer. If i ever get hacked, i'd simply hack the intruder back and delete all important files using a simple homemade VB program that you can find code for in an easy google search. But tbh cant see why anyone would want to hack me.. got jack shit on my comp lol.
