My first go in a car i was 8.... once only. dad made me drive on private property.
a mate owns a farm, his dad taught us when we were 13-15
the lessons with the ex's dad at 17... finished with her half way through the lessons and the price went up to £17.50 per hour.

I had a go of a dodge automatic thing in america when i was 14, then 17 was when i started my lessons

When I was 7, my dad sat me on his lap and let me hold the wheel straight while he changed gear up to second about 25mph in his Fiat Marea in a supermarket car park. I thought I was making the car go myself. I've been hooked ever since. When I was 12ish he took me out occassionally around the industrial estate, taught me how to work a clutch, and by 14-15 I was reasonably competant at how to work a car, although no concept of proper observation etc. Still didn't get my license til 18 lol.

started at about 5/6 on ma dads lap in a LDV convoy van lol then at my mates field in a mazda 323, 205 gti and a metro all mot failiures lol then with ma mates, in a silvia, and a gti6 both got crushed by the feds cus they had no mot,tax or insurance or liscence to drive then with my dad on an old dis-used air field at about 15/16 then started learning at 17 :)

well the 1st thing i drove was a nissan almera when i was 15 with my dad... since then i dove alot of cars and i rememeber when i had a go of a tractor hahahaa... well i done my 1st lesson was about febuary 2007 :)...

and now im a driver for nissan drivin 350z's / navaras ;)

me and my mate got a car when we were 12! 1.2 nova! oh yes. we used to drive it round his farm for hours lol. one day we lost the keys though, and rather than hotwire each time, we wired in a light switch and door bell, click the switch on, press door bell and vroom vroom! haha.
