removing the bumpers and strips: 4/5
Painting the black bits: 7/8
Removing the bumpers is easy, get a haynes manual it shall tell you all. The rub strips are held on by clips and sometimes adhesive, if held on by adhesive it gets a bit more difficult but just heat it up and peel away.
The painting is hard, but the preparation is harder. Your going to have to use high build plastic primer and sand the bump strips flat so you cna paint them. And with it being such a large area you better be good at painting

its one of those jobs best left to the pros isnt it scott? how much you reckon they would charge for colour coding all the rub strips?

i personally would have a go myself but im confident i could do it right.
The rub strips have a grain effect on them, you dont need to get rid of this but it will look utter shite if you dont

the cost by a bodyshop would be in the region of £200!thats for the bumpstrips and the bumpers!

I would NOT do this with PAINT CANS!!!!!!!
The finish will never be very good, also if you fook it up it will cost MORE for the bodyshop to fix

I've been quoted £200 for the front, back and side bumpstrips to be colour coded.
