do you mean the file manager icon?

if yes as far as i know is it a different name for my doc's...its a shortcut.. delete it

Yes I did, it removed it from the reg edit and it still didn't dissapear from the desktop.

I've told you i've tried everything I need a program

1.Open Display in Control Panel.

2.On the Desktop tab, click Customize Desktop.

3.Under Desktop cleanup, click Clean Desktop Now.

4.Follow the directions in the Desktop Cleanup Wizard.

old phone? remove program?? try the reg edit thing again the refresh your desktop (click background ad press F5)

Try add/remove programs and remove the program that's causing it. Then re-install it and tell it not to put a shortcut on the desktop.

Guna risk it and download some of these dodgy looking programs. xD
