Personally i think PCWorld are pants, try ebuyer, if your confident build your own PC.

It doesn't come with a monitor but you can get a cheap one.

Your first mistake is going to pcworld. For that spec i build them at about £200 cheaper than that. Its not even a great a spec to be fair.
try here:
www.novatech.co.uk
If your looking at spending £700 odd , id definatly go for an INTEL QUAD CORE or Core Duo. atleast 3gb of DDR2 800mhz ram and a 320gb SATA hard drive with a 8600GT / 8800GT

Cheers for that:y: There's one of these shops a few miles from me in Reading !!
My dad just reminded me that he bought a TIME pc from pc world for £2,500 a few years back and it only lasted a year so that's put me off pc world forever LOL He even took out a loan to buy it!!

Agree with Daryl although I used dinopc.com and built a nice desktop (without monitor) for approx £440.

I've found this one on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/INTEL-CORE-2-QUAD-PC-COMPUTER-4GB-500gb-SATA_W0QQitemZ350005322603QQihZ022QQcategoryZ179QQ ssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem. Sounds really good but i'm not sure about the graphics card. Is it as good as 8600/8800 graphics?
